HKD is accepted for settlement of a HKD account whereas for a CNY account either HKD or CNY is acceptable. Separate currency account provides both convenience and flexibility. Credit / Debit balance of independent account will not mutually set off one another and thus allow you complete freedom in managing your financial needs.
Also, for a CNY account direct debit can be set up on a HKD current / savings account or a CNY savings account with Bank of China (Hong Kong), Nanyang Commercial Bank or Chiyu Banking Corporation, itĦĤs simple and easy.

The award of 1,000 extra Reward Gift Points only applies to the first successful registration for the Online Services with a BOC credit card account; or the registration of a BOC Credit Card account to the Internet Banking Services of the Bank of China (Hong Kong), the Nanyang Commercial Bank Limited or the Chiyu Banking Corporation Limited (collectively refer to as "the Banks"). The extra Reward Gift Points offer is not applicable to Additional Cardholders, Cardholders who had previously registered for BOC Credit Card Online Services or had previously registered any BOC Credit Card Account to the Internet Banking Services of the Banks on or before 29 January 2012. Each eligible Main Cardholder is entitled to receive the extra Reward Gift Points award once only, regardless of the number of BOC credit cards held. The extra Reward Gift Points will be credited to credit card account of the highest tier maintained by the Cardholder on the next statement cycle after successfully registration of the credit card account. |
