Whenever a card transaction is being processed in Mainland China, Hong Kong or Overseas, our smart systems will evaluate the transaction and a SMS alert will be sent to your mobile phone number on record with us whenever deemed necessary. If you cannot recognize the transaction as your own, please immediately call our 24-hour Customer Service Hotline: (852) 2853 8828. If you have changed your mobile number or wish to re-confirm your number on record with us, please complete the Cardholder Information Amendment Form.

A 56-day interest-free payment period makes your payment more flexible.

You can settle your HKD or CNY account separately: HKD is accepted for a HKD account whereas a CNY account can be settled by either currency HKD or CNY, whichever you prefer.

You may be requested to key-in a password when making a transaction in merchant locations with a signage which also accept BOC CUP Dual Currency Credit Card; please tell the merchant there is no need for a password, then the merchant will treat it just as a normal credit card transaction.

HKD is accepted for settlement of a HKD account whereas for a CNY account either HKD or CNY is acceptable. Separate currency account provides both convenience and flexibility. Credit / Debit balance of independent account will not mutually set off one another and thus allow you complete freedom in financial management.

Also, for a CNY account direct debit can be set up on a HKD current / savings account or a CNY savings account with Bank of China (Hong Kong), Nanyang Commercial Bank or Chiyu Banking Corporation, it’s simple and easy.
