Terms and Conditions

1. Holders of BOC Credit Card and BOC CUP Dual Currency Credit Card are all eligible for this promotion. To enjoy this promotion, cardholders must settle payment with their BOC Credit Card (Note: Credit Card issued in Macau, Great Wall International Card, USD Card, BOC Renminbi Credit Card, Purchase Card, BOC Prepaid Card, BOC Express Cash Card, Esso Private Label Card and Intown Card are all excluded).
   
2. The promotion period runs from 8 June, 2009 to 10 July, 2009 (both dates inclusive) (the 'promotion period').
   
3. Each BOC Credit Card main or additional cardholder is entitled to one lucky draw chance for every spending of HK$500 net paid amount per retail and/or cash advance transaction. Eligible retail purchase and cash advance transactions emanating from the main and the additional cardholders will be treated as having originated from one and the same card account for the purpose of the draw. Each individual BOC Credit Card can enjoy unlimited draw chances.
   
4. A total of 700 main cardholder winners will be drawn for this promotion. Each main cardholder is entitled to a maximum of 1 prize within the promotion period.
   
5. The eligibility of each retail purchase and cash advance will be determined by its transaction date and must be supported by corresponding sales slip/receipt. Only retail purchase and cash advance transactions made within Hong Kong SAR during the promotion period are eligible for this promotion (annual fee, finance charge, late charge, balance transfer, cash before card transaction, "Interest Free Installment" including merchant purchase installment, Interest-free "Statement Installment Plan" and "Cash Installment Plan", online bill payment, online transaction, autopay account payment, mail order, telephone order, overseas transactions, Octopus Automatic Add Value Service, card spending on gift point rewards purchase, securities or investment transactions, gambling transactions and transactions without supporting slip/receipt are all not applicable). Fraudulent or fake transactions, unauthorized transactions, cancelled or refunded transactions, are also not eligible for this promotion.
   
6. The promotion applies only to transactions supported by physical sales slip/ticket/document and subject to verification on request by BOC Credit Card (International) Ltd (the "Company").
   
7. The status of each winning BOC Credit Card account must be valid and in good standing to be eligible for this promotion. Prizes cannot be converted into cash, returned, exchanged for other gifts or resold and are not transferable.
   
8. If a cardholder maintains more than one BOC Credit Card account, each card account may participate in the Lucky Draw but all eligible transactions will be counted independently and subject to the restriction as stated in clause 4.
   
9. The Lucky Draw winner will be randomly drawn by the Company’s own computer system.
   
10. The Lucky Draw is scheduled to take place on 15 July 2009. The winner will be posted in the South China Morning Post and the Wen Wei Po on 21 July 2009.
    
11. All winners will be notified individually by mail and will have to redeem the prize concert tickets at the Metro Broadcast Corporation Ltd within the period from 20 July to 4 August, 2009.
    
12. In case of any change(s) or cancellation of any of the scheduled concerts or any dispute(s) arising between the concert organizers and the cardholder(s), the concert organizers reserve the right for the final decision at their own discretion.
    
13. Seats will be randomly allocated by the computer assisted booking system. One admission ticket per person regardless of age.
    
14. All admission tickets are further subject to the terms and conditions of the concert organizers. The Company does not provide a lost ticket reporting service nor does it accept any responsibility for any lost or defaced admission tickets.
    
15. Cardholders must keep all original sales slips/tickets/documents of the retail purchase and cash advance receipts. In case of any dispute, the Company reserves the right to request the cardholder to submit the original sales slips and/or such further documents or evidence for verification.
    
16. Should the winning card account be cancelled or in violation of the terms and conditions of the Card User Agreement on or before the Lucky Draw date the entitlement to the prize will be forfeited forthwith.
    
17. The Company accepts no liability for any matters in relation to the services or products provided by the event organizers. The organizers are solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities in relation thereto.
    
18. The Company reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate this promotion or amend the terms and conditions at its sole discretion without prior notice but all such changes, suspensions, terminations or amendments will be subject to advance notice to and acceptance by the Commissioner for Television and Entertainment Licensing.
    
19. All matters and disputes will be subject to the final decision of the Company and the Metro Broadcast Corporation Ltd.
    
20. Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and the Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
