Supplement to BOC Credit Card (International) Limited
User Agreement
in respect of MasterCard SideCard

The terms and conditions printed below ("these Supplemental Terms") are supplemental to BOC Credit Card (International) Limited User Agreement ("User Agreement") in respect of any MasterCard SideCard issued by BOC Credit Card (International) Limited (the "Company") in conjunction with a MasterCard credit card ("MasterCard SideCard") and shall form part of the User Agreement. These Supplemental Terms, together with the User Agreement, shall govern any MasterCard SideCard. In respect of MasterCard SideCard, in the event of inconsistency between the User Agreement and these Supplemental Terms, these Supplemental Terms shall prevail to the extent of any such inconsistency.
   
Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms used in these Supplemental Terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the User Agreement.
  
1. Where the context permits, references in the User Agreement to "Card" shall include any MasterCard SideCard and any of its renewal or replacement card.
   
2. The Company will only issue one MasterCard SideCard for each MasterCard credit card designated by the Company.
 
3. All Charges effected by the use of a MasterCard SideCard will be debited to the Account. The card number and the expiry date of the MasterCard SideCard shall be the same as its corresponding Card. The MasterCard SideCard shall share the same credit limit with its corresponding Card.
  
4. No PIN will be issued to a MasterCard SideCard and any clauses in the User Agreement in relation to PIN will not be applicable to a MasterCard SideCard.
   
5. ATM facility will not be incorporated to a MasterCard SideCard and any clauses in the User Agreement in relation to ATM will not be applicable to a MasterCard SideCard. The Cardholder shall in no circumstances insert or attempt to insert the MasterCard SideCard into any ATM. The Cardholder shall be liable to the Company for any damage caused to the ATM as a result of his/her improper use of the MasterCard SideCard and shall indemnify the Company against all costs, expenses and liabilities incurred or otherwise sustained by the Company in connection with or arising out of any such damage.
  
6. The MasterCard SideCard can only be used at terminals where the MasterCard SideCard is to be swiped to complete any transaction. The MasterCard SideCard cannot be used at terminals where the MasterCard SideCard is to be inserted in a slot to complete any transaction.
   
7. The Cardholder shall be fully liable for all losses and damages in connection with or arising out of any improper use of the MasterCard SideCard in contravention of the restrictions described in Clauses 5 and 6 above. The Cardholder shall indemnify the Company against all losses, damages, liabilities and all reasonable costs and expenses incurred or otherwise sustained as a result thereof.
  
8. When a MasterCard SideCard is issued, in the event of any reported loss or theft of either the MasterCard SideCard or the corresponding Card, the right to use both Cards will cease immediately.
  
9. When a MasterCard SideCard is issued, in the event of suspension or termination of either the MasterCard SideCard or the corresponding Card (whether by the Cardholder or the Company), the right to use both Cards will be immediately suspended or terminated (as the case may be).
  
10. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and the Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
