TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BRAND NEW PETROL DISCOUNT OFFER:
 
 
The 5% instant petrol discount is based on Synergy F-1 pump price as of 21 November, 2012 and the calculation of 3.3% petrol discount for Smiles Points redemption is based on HK$300 worth of free petrol redeemed with 7,500 Smiles Points.
Cardholders are required to present a valid Smiles Card in order to enjoy the instant petrol discount.

Every HK$1 spent on a BOC Esso MasterCard at Esso ('Eligible Transaction') will entitle the holder to 3 times reward gift points (the 'gift points').
The 3 times gift points for card spending at Esso includes the basic gift points earned (HK$1=1 gift point) and the extra 2X gift points. The basic gift points earned (HK$1=1 gift point) will be posted to the eligible card account within its regular billing cycle; whilst the extra 2X  gift points will be posted to the eligible BOC Esso MasterCard account on the next day of the statement cycle cut off date and will be shown on the next statement. 

All fraudulent transaction, unauthorized transaction, unsuccessful transaction, cancelled or refunded transactions will be excluded.

Only cardholders whose credit card accounts are valid and in good standing at the time when the gift points are being awarded will be  eligible for the reward. In the event of termination of a credit card account, violation of the Card User Agreement or the card account being in default, the reward entitlement will be forfeited automatically forthwith and will not be re-awarded afterwards regardless of the card  status.
To confirm the reward entitled by each cardholder, the Company will authenticate the eligibility of each transaction by matching the cardholder records kept by the Company. If the information provided by cardholder differs from that of the Company records, the latter shall be final and conclusive.
Should the cardholder commit any abuse or fraudulent act, the Company shall cancel the eligibility of the respective cardholder for the offer and reverse out from the card account any reward so awarded or debit the account with a sum equivalent to the monetary value of the gift points awarded (in the ratio of every 25,000 Gift Points being equivalent to HK$100) without prior notice. In the event the gift point balance available cannot meet the purpose as aforesaid, the Company reserves its right to cancel the respective credit card account and/or take such legal actions as may be necessary.
If an Eligible Transaction is cancelled subsequent to the award of the Gift Points, the cardholder will have to return to the Company the gift points awarded. The Company reserves the right to debit the credit card account accordingly or, in the event of insufficient gift points for the purpose as aforesaid, with a monetary amount equivalent to the value of the gift points awarded (in the ratio of 25,000 Gift Points to HK$100) without prior notice.
The gift points awarded cannot be redeemed for cash or resold and are non-returnable as well as non-transferrable.
