Terms & Conditions

1. The promotion period is from 20 December 2008 to 31 January 2009 (both dates inclusive) (the 'promotion period'). Triple Gift Points will only be offered to eligible BOC Credit Card transactions performed at a supermarket, a department store, Watson's or Mannings located within the territory.
   
2. The offer is exclusively available to holders of BOC Platinum Card, BOC Credit Card, U-point Card, y not Card, BOC Business & Corporate Credit Card and Co-branded Card (Credit Cards issued in Macau, USD Cards, Great Wall Renminbi Credit Cards, BOC Renminbi Credit Cards, Great Wall International Cards, Purchasing Cards, BOC Prepaid Cards, BOC Express Cash Cards, Intown Cards, Esso Private Label Card and BOC CUP Dual Currency Credit Card are all excluded).
   
3. The eligibility of an eligible BOC credit card purchase will be determined by its transaction date with an eligible BOC Credit Card and within the promotional period. Late submission of eligible transaction details will be allowed up to and including 10 February 2009 but not beyond.
   
4. Only purchase value of or below HK$400 and transacted within the promotion period will be eligible. The maximum extra Gift Points entitled by any eligible card account will not exceed 10,000 Gift points.
   
5. The merchant category will be determined by the transaction data provided by the merchant’s acquirer.
   
6. The extra 2X Gift Points entitled will be credited to the relevant Main Cardholder account by 28 Feb 2009. And the Gift Points so posted will only be shown on the Main Cardholder monthly statement that follows. This offer is not applicable to "Interest Free Installment" transactions. Gift Points Rewards are not applicable to the 'Cash Rebate' program participants. Gift points earned by 'Cash Rebate' program participants will be converted to free spending credit of approximate value and will be credited into the main card account. Gift points in the main card account and additional card account(s) will be combined, and credited into the main card account only.
   
7. Fraudulent transaction, cancelled account, account with overdue record or in breach of the Card User Agreement will result in the forfeiture of eligibility for this promotion.
   
8. The above terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with those contained in the latest issue of the BOC Credit Card Gift Point Catalogue.
   
9. BOC Credit Card (International) Ltd (the 'Company') reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions without prior notice.
   
10. In case of any dispute arising out of any draw results or in this promotion, the decision of the Company shall be final and conclusive.
    
11. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and the Chinese version of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
