Additional Terms and Conditions for "Up to 3X Gift Points Reward":

1. 3X Gift Points Reward is only applicable to retail transactions made in department stores and Watsons in Hong Kong SAR ; 2X Gift Points Reward is only applicable to retail transactions at other merchants (apart from department stores and Watsons). Retail transactions with net purchase in a single sale slip equals to or more than HK$300 are eligible for this offer. Cash advance, annual fee, financial fee, handling fee, balance transfer, cash before card service amount, installment fee, gift redemption fee, internet payment or transaction amount, tax payment, mail order, phone or fax order, casino transaction, Octopus AAVS, gift delivery charges, investment and any other transactions without sales slip are all excluded.
   
2. Gift Points reward program is from 31^st July to 30^th Sept, 2009 (both dates inclusive, based on the posting date); the eligible transaction should be posted not later than 7^th October, 2009.
   
3. Any fraudulent, unauthorized, cancelled, refunded transactions as well as unposted and split transactions will result in the forfeiture of eligibility for this promotion. The offer is not applicable to cardholders in the "Cash Rebate" program.
   
4. Cardholders will get the basic gift points reward for each transaction in the transaction month. The extra "2X" / "1X" gift point is only applicable to the designated merchant category and transactions, and the merchant category is set by the acquiring bank. The extra "2X" / "1X" gift points earned on eligible transactions will be credited to the respective applicable main card account on or before 30 November, 2009 and will be included in the gift point balance posted in the subsequent monthly statement.
   
5. Transactions emanating from the main and the additional card account will be treated as having originated from one and the same card account. Transactions will be combined and posted in the main cardholder account statement only.
   
6. Within the promotion period, each card account is entitled to earn a maximum of extra 20,000 gift points for the above "3X" / "2X" Gift Points Reward Program.
   
7. In order to be eligible for this promotion the status of the card account must be valid and normal during the promotion or at the time when the gift points are being awarded. Should the eligible cardholder account be cancelled or in violation of the terms and conditions of the Card User Agreement or the card account being in default during the promotion or the award of gift points, the entitlement to the gift points will forthwith be forfeited.
