"$1 Super Spending Promotion" Terms and Conditions:

1. Only transactions dated within the period from 1 November to 6 December 2009 (both dates inclusive) (the 'promotional period') and being supported by corresponding sales slips are eligible.
   
2. The redemption period is from 30 November to 6 December 2009 (Redemption time: After 5:00 pm during the redemption period) (both dates inclusive) (the 'redemption period'). Beverages subject to availability are offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
   
3. During the redemption period, with three separate retail transaction slips of at least $500 each made by either a personal BOC Platinum Credit Card or Business / Corporate Credit Card within the promotional period the cardholder can present all three sales slips and pay HK$1^# with an eligible BOC Platinum Credit Card or Business / Corporate Credit Card to redeem a selected tall size beverage (the HK$1 redemption fee must be settled by a BOC Platinum Credit Card or Business / Corporate Credit Card). Each cardholder can redeem one beverage at a time with three sales slips. Each cardholder can redeem a maximum of 2 beverages during the redemption period. Sales slips of either the main cardholder or the additional cardholder can be presented for redemption.
   
4. All sales slips presented for redemption must show legibly the card number, merchant name, transaction date, transaction amount and the cardholder signature.
   
5. Split sales are not eligible for this promotion.
   
6. For redemption a cardholder must present in person his / her BOC Platinum Credit Card or Business / Corporate Credit Card together with three original sales slips. Account details on the sales slip must correspond with embossed details on the presented BOC Platinum Credit Card or Business / Corporate Credit Card. And cardholder must pay the HK$1 redemption fee with his/her BOC Platinum Credit Card or Business / Corporate Credit Card. Redemption by a 3^rd party with or without authorization will not be accepted.
   
7. Where a cardholder is unable to settle the HK$1 redemption fee with a presented BOC Platinum Credit Card or Business/Corporate Credit Card for whatever reason, the eligibility for this promotion will be forfeited.
   
8. Cardholders can redeem a selected tall size of beverage at any "Starbucks Coffee" outlet (Hong Kong).
   
9. Sales slips once presented and accepted for redemption will be stamped and declared void for further redemption.
   
10. Beverage redemption is subject to stock availability and at the discretion of the participating merchant. BOC Credit Card (International) Ltd. (the "Company") and the participating merchant reserve the right to substitute the out of stock redemption item without prior notice.

General Terms and Conditions:

1. This promotion is applicable to holders of BOC Platinum Credit Card (Including Co-brand Platinum Card, but exclude BOC CUP Dual Currency Platinum Credit Card) or Business / Corporate Credit Card issued in Hong Kong and bearing the logo.
   
2. The eligibility of a purchase transaction is to be determined by the transaction date and amount imprinted on a supporting sales slip. Only retail transactions made within Hong Kong SAR are eligible for this promotion (Cash Advance, annual fee, financial charge, late charge, balance transfer, cash before card service, installment payment, online bill payment, online transaction, autopay payment, mail order, telephone order and overseas transactions are all excluded). Fraudulent transactions, unauthorized transactions, unposted, cancelled, refunded transactions etc are all treated as invalid transactions and as such will not be eligible for this promotion. This promotion applies only to posted transactions with valid supporting documents (for example, retail purchase sales slips).
   
3. No request for exchange, return or refund for cash of any redeemed item will be accepted. All redemption item photos are for reference only.
   
4. In case of redemption by a cardholder (per card) in excess of the allowed 2 beverages, BOC Credit Card (International) Ltd ("the company") reserves the right to debit the extra costs involved and the relevant redemption fee to the concerned cardholder account.
   
5. The Company accepts no liability for the quality of or any matter relating to the redeemed goods / services. The vendors are solely responsible for all the obligations and liabilities relating thereto.
   
6. The Company reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate this promotion or amend its terms and conditions at its sole discretion without prior notice.
   
7. All matters and disputes will be subject to the final decision of the Company.
   
8. Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and the Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
