Please be informed that with the introduction of a new ATM system by Bank of China Limited ("BOC") in phase from 18 April 2011, the CARS service at the ATMs of BOC in the Mainland of China will be terminated with effect from the same day. However, the ATM service in Hong Kong will remain unchanged.

The ATMs of BOC will continue to provide account enquiry and cash withdrawal services to holders of BOC card and BOC credit cards through their new system^*, and the service network will be expanded throughout the Mainland of China. However, there will be services adjustment due to the system replacement as follows:

	Change of Account Choices: the default setting of the ATM screen display will include account types instead of account numbers for selection.
	Termination of Fund Transfer Service
