The promotion period runs from 12:00 noon on 9 October, 2014 until 11:59 am on 13 November, 2014. The promotion is divided into 5 phases:
Phase 1 starts at 12:00 noon on 9 October, 2014 and ends at 11:59 am on 16 October, 2014
Phase 2 starts at 12:00 noon on 16 October, 2014 and ends at 11:59 am on 23 October, 2014
Phase 3 starts at 12:00 noon on 23 October, 2014 and ends at 11:59 am on 30 October, 2014
Phase 4 starts at 12:00 noon on 30 October, 2014 and ends at 11:59 am on 6 November, 2014
Phase 5 starts at 12:00 noon on 6 November, 2014 and ends at 11:59 am on 13 November, 2014
The promotion is only applicable to persons who fulfill the following conditions (the “Participator”):
Aged 18 or over; and
Followed the “BOCHK_CC” official WeChat account (WeChat ID: BOCHK_CC) (the “WeChat Account”).
Participation and/or award of ineligible Participator(s) will be disqualified without prior notice.
The WeChat Account is owned by Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (“BOCHK”), and BOCHK is also the organizer of this promotion.
Promotion Details:
The Participator(s) has/have to register through “好賞至HOT手機” at the official WeChat account to enter the lucky draw.
BOCHK will draw 6 winners (with a total of 30 winners during the promotion period) throughout Phases 1 to 5. Each winner will receive one 4.7 inch smartphone (Grey and Black, 64GB) (the “Reward”).
If the Participator does not win during Phase 1 of the lucky draw, the Participator will automatically be entered into Phase 2, and in the succeeding phases until the conclusion of the lucky draw.
BOCHK will announce the lucky draw winner list and prize redemption procedure in the WeChat Account within 2 weeks upon the conclusion of each phase. The Participator(s) should visit the BOCHK WeChat Account to check the lucky draw results.
All winners must register for their Reward at the official WeChat account from 12:00 noon on17 November, 2014 to 12:00 noon on 12 December, 2014. The Reward will be forfeited if winners do not redeem by the aforementioned period and no reward will be offered as compensation.
Winners must provide their English name as indicated in their ID card (full name), the first four digits of their ID card number (including the first English letter)and their Hong Kong mailing address through the BOCHK_CC WeChat official account.
If the personal information provided by the winner is wrong or unclear, BOCHK Limited reserves the right to disqualify the award of the Participator(s).
Redeeming Reward and Disclaimer:
Letters to winners will be posted to the winners on or before 31 December, 2014.
Winners must personally collect their Reward from 31 December, 2014 to 31 January, 2015 bearing the official copy of the letter. The Winners must present the page indicating the registration number for the '好賞至HOT手機’promotion upon redemption. Screen captures will not be accepted.The letter must not be passed to a third party to redeem on their behalf.
If the winner cannot redeem the Reward during the aforementioned period, they will be seen as forfeiting their Reward, and no other Reward will be offered as compensation.
All rewards cannot be transferred as cash, returned or exchanged for other products. BOCHK and BOC Credit Card (International) Limited (“BOCCC”) is not the manufacturer of the reward. BOCHK does not offer any guarantee for the rewards offered by the manufacturer, and will not take responsibility for any consequences from the services, product and/ or the reward. Any enquiries, suggestions or complaints about the reward should be directed to the manufacturer.
BOCHK reserves the right to offer an alternative gift as a replacement of the Reward and/or Extra Reward without prior notice.
The Participator(s) has/have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions once they participate in the aforementioned promotion. BOCHK reserves the right to disqualify the Participator(s) who violate these terms and conditions.
If BOCHK or BOCCC reasonably believes that any person has been using or abetting others to use any method to interpret operations of the aforementioned promotion (including stealing others’ WeChat accounts or other frauds), causing interferences, technical difficulties or problems, or any jeopardizing, damaging or affecting operation or fairness of the aforementioned promotion, BOCHK or BOCCC reserves the right to disqualify participation and/or award of the Participator(s), and can claim for any damage or loss arising from or in connection with any of the above.
The winner’s personal information will be collected and stored by BOCHK through BOCCC for the use of prize redemption arrangements of this promotion only. In addition, BOCHK will never reveal personal information to a third party, or use the information for other purposes. BOCHK and BOCCC are not responsible for any miscommunication due to wrong or inapplicable information supplied by the winners, and will not use other channels to make alternative redemption arrangements.
BOCHK is not liable for any delay, loss, error, unrecognized instruction or other circumstances caused by any computers and/or network communication or technical problems, failures, accidents or reasons. The participation / registration records (including but not limited to date and time) in the aforementioned promotion are subject to the BOCHK system.
BOCHK and/or BOCCC reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, and vary, suspend as well as discontinue the aforementioned promotion at any time without prior notice.
In case of any dispute, the decision of BOCHK and/or BOCCC shall be final and conclusive.
These terms and conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
In the event of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall apply and prevail.
